Jahangir Siddiqui, chairman of JS Bank, inaugurated the 212th branch of the bank at the IBA Karachi, a statement said on Tuesday.
Distinguished citizens of Karachi and senior management of JS Bank attended the ceremony, it said.
Jahangir Siddiqui said, “I would like to congratulate the CEO, management, and employees of JS Bank on achieving this important milestone.” “Under its capable leadership, the bank has made outstanding progress in a short span of time and continues to move on a sharp trajectory of growth. I wish to reiterate JS Group’s commitment towards the development and prosperity of Pakistan and its great people.”
Over the last seven years, JS Bank has expanded its footprint across Pakistan with a growing branch network, which currently stands at over 212 branches nationwide, offering a complete suite of banking products, he said.
This JS Bank branch is of great importance, keeping in view the location within the IBA Karachi campus, he said, adding, it would serve to play a key role in enhancing the future of this country by serving the very best minds and allowing them the utmost convenience to stay focused on their academics.
This growth is recognized as one of the fastest growth by any bank in Pakistan, which alludes to the financial strength of the bank, as well as its long-term approach to building businesses across market segments, Siddiqui said.
The bank has been reassigned a credit rating of A+ by the Pakistan Credit Rating Agency (Pacra), which further indicates the financial health of the bank and the trust reposed in it by the country’s premier credit rating agency.
